the best laugh i had this week, was during a presentation from a pretty cute french sales rep, that was giving a quite complicated presentation about a new product.

during the presentation she somehow (probably due to half the audience falling either asleep or beginning to talk to each other) noticed that not too many where paying attention anymore, so the stopped talking, looked at us for a second and said with kind of an angry undertone: "you need to focus!". unfortunately, with her french accent, this sounded a lot like: "you need to fuck us!".

in any case, she had the immediate attention of the 99% male audience. mission accomplished.

ps: she was also talking a lot about an "excel sheet" and i am pretty sure you can figure out for yourself how this sounded like.

At 11am today, the 4th September 2006, Steve Irwin was fatally wounded by a stingray barb to his heart whilst filming a sequence on Batt Reef off Port Douglas for his daughter’s new TV series. Emergency services were called from Cairns Rescue Base and met Croc One, Steve’s rescue vessel at Low Isle on the Great Barrier Reef. what a shame! i really, really liked this crazy guy. i offer my condolences to his family, especially his wife and kids.

it´s 4 months to xmas and i have not bought a single present, nor do i have any clue whatsoever on what to buy for whom. maybe i should just leave the country.

does anyone know if we have a non-xmas-extradition treaty with queenstown, new zealand?
