last saturday, right when i was getting ready to go to berlin for a celebration, something new happend in my life. something that has never happend before and - if i may say so - something i am not too keen on happening again: i got run over by a car.
it happend
real quick, but i was quite lucky: suffered a number of bruises, a dickey ankle and a mild concussion. the car however was not damaged - just in case you wondered.
what do we learn from this experience?
two things:
1st: always expect the
unexpected .
and 2nd: it can all be over in a split second.
i´ve had my share of accidents in the last years (those of you who read my crap will perhaps remember), but this one could really have ended ugly. makes one wonder about a lot of things.
my conclusion is, that i am not going to save anything anymore (not that i really did in the past). neither money nor anything else. i´ll spend it the second i have it and worry about anything else later. therefore i am going to cook a really really fancy dinner for the three of us tonight (that would be me, myself and i) plus i am going to open that bloody expensive bottle of whitewine i have been saving and i am going to drink, eat and enjoy it all.
hail to the king! long life the king!
