today last week, after reading
this post from
belle de jour (a.k.a. not the fake german but the real uk version), one of the very few blogs i have been reading on a regular basis since the beginning, i thought this could really be some fun:
five things i have, but don´t want:
- the ability to watch tv for about 10 hours straight without having to go to the bathroom. it´s a result of decades of ruthless training.
- a surplus kettle. i know this is kind of pathetic to mention, but i did buy a new and shiny one recently (although the old one was working just fine) so if anyone needs a used kings kettle let me know.
- an omniscient mother that still tries to run my live. unsuccessfully i might add.
- a really nice bicycle that is residing in my cellar and only sees daylight when i relocate.
- the spell of procrastination (level 60).
five things i want, but don´t have:
- healing potion for the spell of procrastination.
- the ability to photoshop
- someone who is folding and putting away my laundry. the washing, hanging up to dry, ironing is fine with me, but i am a complete failure with the folding part.
- a sixpack that will not go away. both versions.
- an always current digital picture of me, in which i look thin, handsome, shaved and properly dressed plus am
making an intelligent not making a stupid face.
five things i don´t have and don´t want:
- a tv license. yes i have a tv. two actually. but i refuse to pay for any kind of content that contains ads. never have. never will. (if you like to read a fun story about tv licenses in the uk click here)
- nodding acquaintces who would really, really like to become friends.
- a house at big bear lake, ca. i know someone who has one, so why waste the 1 mio dollars that i do not have to buy one. all i need is to fake a reason to visit and being a sales guy that is something that can be done in a split second.
- any kind of boat. although i do love to and currently am living next to the water, i am not much of a boat fan. watching them is cool. taking pictures is even cooler and i do board them occationally if they are towed to the quai or/and really, really big, but i do not share the excitement about having one. i also again lack the necessary finances.
- a wardrobe. wardrobes suck!
here is the list of five people i would like to ask those very same questions:
desideria,
brummelschlumpf,
idoru,
femme noire and
saoirse.
if you pretty please with cream and sugar on top?
